Jo Ullah’s debut novel a psychological thriller called The Locksmith took nine years from first tentative scribblings until it publication in April 2018. The idea first came in a dream, an idea that at the time held just a kernel of the story that grew from it. The dream was about two women on a farm; one of the two was in grave danger and the farm was rigged with traps and locks. From this seed of an idea an obsession grew to write. The journey from life-long occasional short story writer and unfinished manuscripts taught Jo the process of writing a novel; through mentoring, group classes and studying for a degree in English Literature and language. At the close of last year she entered her novel in Kindle Scout and won. The Locksmith is now available as an eBook on Amazon published by Kindle Press. Jo self publishes the paperback which she sells via her website www.joullah.com  She will also make the paperback available via Amazon in the next coming months.
